I welcome confirmation that 15 community centres across Galway will receive significant funding under the Community Centre Investment Fund Scheme, with a total allocation of €1,116,640 to support essential upgrades and improvements.
The funding will assist a wide range of community centres in enhancing their facilities, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and continue to serve as vital hubs for local activities. The successful centres receiving funding include:

• Abbeyknockmoy Community Centre – €86,000
• Kilconly Community Centre – €90,002
• Beagh Community Centre – €95,060
• Labane Community Centre – €94,500
• Eyrecourt Community Centre – €54,500
• Ballindereen Community Centre – €55,501
• Ballygar & District Community Centre – €62,000
• Ballinasloe Social Services – €82,770
• Caltra Community Centre – €55,088
• Bohermore Community Hall – €98,846
• Roundstone Community Centre – €100,000
• Maree Community Centre – €43,204
• Ballinasloe Town Hall – €47,673
• Renmore Scout Den – €57,500

The works to be carried out under this scheme include upgrades to heating, lighting, windows, doors, toilet facilities, solar panel installation, insulation, and other essential refurbishments.
