I have received confirmation from the Head of Primary Care Services that the Audiology Clinic is being installed in Tuam Primary Care Centre and will be up and running by the beginning of August.

Presently the sound proofed booth installation has been completed and the ordering of the testing and ICT equipment is now also completed.

Once the equipment is delivered and it will be installed, calibrated and will be ready for use by the first week in August 2024.

“I have also been informed that the testing equipment is upgraded from the normal testing equipment, and it will be of assistance dealing with the needs of more complex needs of users.

This is more positive news in the delivery of health care services for Tuam and the entire region and ensure that the Tuam Primary Care Centre is used to its full potential”.
