I welcome the decision by St. Jarlath’s Credit Union to install ATM cash dispensing machines in Dunmore, Mountbellew and Glenamaddy.

“The first step has been a positive planning decision by Galway County Council to allow the ATM’s to be installed. The decision to grant the necessary planning is a major step forward in the process.

This is a progressive step by the Credit Union and will provide a much-needed facility for people to withdraw cash in their locality.

The three towns have seen the main retail banks close their doors and were left without any facility to withdraw cash, all three cash machines will be public facing, assessable and will facilities all bank cards.
