I have received confirmation that Sylane Hurling Club are to receive LEADER funding.
“Sylane Hurling Club have been allocated €37,455 towards the provision of a carpark at their facility at Sylane. This is in addition to the €112,378 received earlier in the year towards the fit-out of the community facilities in their new building”.
“I am delighted for Sylane Club and community as they have embarked on a very ambitious programme of development. It is important that they will continue to receive support from the Sports Capital Grants and Community Grants”.
“I wish to acknowledge the effort of the Club in securing this funding and also the help and guidance of Galway Rural Development who administer the scheme.
