I have received confirmation from the HSE that a senior Podiatrist has been appointed to Primary Care and that Primary Care Podiatry will commence service in Athenry next month.
“I have been contacted by many people in the Athenry area and I have been highlighting the lack of Podiatry services in Athenry”.
“I acknowledge the efforts of the Community Health Care West in securing the Podiatrist and ensuring the services is available locally in Athenry.
“It is important that these types of services are available in the community as many people are elderly and a local service is vital for them.
