Tusla is holding a series of special events across Ireland this week to highlight supports available for families and children.
The National Child and Family Supports Week will include a number of venues in Galway East.
They are:
Tuesday 9.30am to 7.30pm Drop In Service for parents in the community at Athenry Primary Care centre with an information stand run by Tusla Family Services staff from 10am to 1pm. Further information from Caitriona Newell 086-0255850
Tuesday 11am to 1pm Screening of Resilience Movie – The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope (for professionals) at the Ard Ri Hotel, Tuam, followed by refreshments and discussion.
Tuesday 6pm to 8pm at Athenry Primary Care Centre -STEAM workshop promoting the use of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths-based activities in furthering youth development. Further information from Una Daly on 086-1833768.
Wednesday 9am to 5.30pm Information Stand at the Supervalu in Tuam (for General Public and parents).
