Three Galway East projects have been allocated a total of €70,619 in LEADER funding.
Galway Rural Development Company has been allocated €35,000 to develop a community biodiversity education and awareness programme for six community organisations, four secondary schools and four national schools in the Loughrea and Oranmore areas.
Kilcornan Community Development Association has been awarded €22,140 to conduct an audit of the built, natural and cultural heritage assets and resources of the Kilcornan estate, Clarinbridge and Lackagh Museum and Community Development Association has been allocated €13,479.30 for a feasibility study for the development of facilities at Lackagh Museum.
