The Tuam Cancer Care 4th annual Survivors Celebration Walk takes place on Sunday October 13th in the Palace Grounds at 2pm.
The walk is an opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors and their families and friends, in a lively, warm atmosphere. .
This is a great event with music and entertainment but more importantly it will raise much-needed funds for the Tuam Cancer Care Centre.
The walk will include teams of cancer survivors and their families, friends and supporters. Any member of the team can be a team leader, while individuals and groups of friends are also welcome to take part.
In addition to the walk, there will be a tree-planting remembrance ceremony where people can tie ribbons to a newly-planted tree in memory of people they have lost through cancer. Ribbons can be purchased on the day for €2.
To register online, log on to https://clr.ie/128559 before Friday October 4th.
Further information and registration forms are available from Eimear Keane, Community Liaison Officer for Tuam Cancer Care on 093-28522.
