I have called on the Government to extend the agreement reached with Community Employment (CE) supervisors to include Rural Social Scheme supervisors.
“The RSS supervisors carry out the same type of work and are a valued component in the management and delivery of so much valuable works in our communities”.
“I am delighted to see recognition for the CE Supervisors which is long overdue, but I believe that the RSS supervisors should also be included in the agreement which recognises the work of the supervisors and has put a gratuity payment in place on retirement”.
“I confirm that I will be raising this issue with Minister Heather Humphreys TD on the resumption of the new Dáil session”.
