In my capacity as Minister for Digital Development, I represented Ireland at the EU Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council in Luxembourg today.
There were several important and informative sessions and debates around future digitisation across Europe and strategic priorities for digitising the European economy.
Items on the agenda also included #5G , ePrivacy, and cybersecurity.
I was joined for the council meeting by Ambassador Joe Hackett and had the pleasure of talking to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel (pictured).
