I have been informed that the tenders for the refurbishment of the Regional Offices for the Office of Public Works in Headford have been completed and the tender evaluation process is now taking place.
“I expect that the tender evaluation process will be completed in the coming weeks with a contractor then being appointed”.
“The investment by the OPW in their regional base in Headford is a very strong vote of confidence in the workforce working here and also it embeds the presence of the OPW on a permanent basis”.
“This is a project that I initiated when I was the Minister for the Office of Public Works. The work when complete will enhance the street view of the entrance to the OPW offices, the investment will ensure the permanent presence for this great employer in the locality”.
“The office serves a wide area across the region in the area of flood relief works and channel cleaning and is a valuable employer in the Headford area”.
