Galway East TD and Minister for Rural Affairs Seán Canney has welcomed Galway County Council’s decision to grant planning permission for a new Aldi store in Tuam town centre,
The store will be located at the Glynn’s Hardware site.
Minister Canney said: “This is positive news for Tuam. When the store is developed, it will add enormously to the footfall for shopping in the town.
“Developments such as these play an important role in the regeneration of our rural towns.”
