Today, as Minister of State in the Department of Communications, Climate Action and the Environment, I launched the National Standards Authority of Ireland Gas Technical Standards Committee’s annual Activity Report.
I am delighted that the committee is extending its scope to include renewable gas and hydrogen as part of the move towards 70% renewables under the Government’s Climate Action Plan.
This will help ensure that Ireland progresses through the clean energy route based on best international practice.
