This week I chaired the Quarterly Meeting of the Mobile Phone & Broadband Taskforce. We received updates on progress about planning, infrastructure and coverage. It is absolutely vital that we remain at the cutting edge of broadband and mobile phone networks, particularly 5G.
We also received presentations from Luiz A. DaSilva, Professor of Telecommunications and Director of CONNECT at Trinity College and from Vodafone on the development of the Internet of Things. The changes that are to come will transform our lives.
