I am urging all those responsible for protected buildings and recorded monuments to consider applying for grants from the Irish Georgian Society.
The society’s Conservation Grants Programme 2020 offers a total funding of €50,000 to support works around the country.
This is an opportunity for the owners of buildings of architectural interest and heritage value to receive much-needed funding for maintenance and improvement.
The vision of the Irish Georgian Society is to conserve, protect and foster an interest and respect for Ireland’s architectural heritage and decorative arts.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday March 2.
