Emergency roof works have been approved for Brierfield National School, Tuam.
Galway East TD and Minister for Rural Affairs Seán Canney has welcomed the decision to approve the school’s funding application by Minister for Education and Skills Joe McHugh TD.
Minister Canney said: “These works are urgently needed and I am very pleased for the students, staff, principal and the Board of Management that their request for funding has been successful.”
