Sean Canney TD Minister of State for Rural Affairs has confirmed a total of €370,748.70 in leader funding for 11 projects in Galway East.
The following have received funding :

Weir Haven Wellness Centre Kilcolgan €28,315.14
Ivy House Chocolates Tynagh €11,000.

Community projects include :

Kilkerrin Communuty Centre €6,810.00
Moylough Parish Sports Centre €20,070
Garrafrauns Community Centre €25,026.75
Shragh Community Centre €28,133.00
Colemanstown United FC €36,574.10
Padraig Pearses GAA €29,283.00
Ballindereen GAA Centre €20,782.00.

This funding stream is administered by Galway Rural Development based in Athenry. I acknowledge the work of GRD is getting these projects approved and I wish all the communities continued success with their work. Funding of this nature is vital for small business and rural communities and I am continuing to work with Minister Michael Ring in providing the necessary support to rural communities.
