I welcome the announcement of €16.6 million in equipment grants under the latest round of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP).
“Funding totalling € 258,937 has been announced for groups in Galway East which is a great help to these clubs in providing facilities with equipment required to improve their clubs”.
The clubs in Galway East to receive funding are Athenry Gymnastics Academy €9,389, Ballinderreen Community Centre €8,326, Claregalway GAA Club €17,499, Dunmore MacHales GAA Club €27,544, Dunmore RFC €12,524, East Galway Pony Club €26,463, Gort GAA Club €18,471, Goya Gang Burren €2,657, Kinvara Hockey Club €21,063, Monivea Boxing Club €6,683, Portumna Lawn Tennis Club €6,509, Sarsfields GCC Club €18,604, St Bernard United Soccer Club Abbeyknockmoy €11,385, St Fursey’s Ladies Football Club Headford €6,392, Sylane Hurling Club €3,503, Tommy Larkins GCC Club €11,464, Tuam Rugby Football Club €15,000, Tuam Stars GCC Club €21,711 and Woodford Sport & Recreational Development Group €13,750
