Drainage works for Regional and Local Roads across County Galway have been allocated €1,397,683 by the Department of Transport.
The funding is part of a €33.8 million grant for a variety of schemes and projects for improving the county’s roads.
I am delighted with the allocation for drainage works, which is much needed to alleviate problems created by heavy rainfall on our roads.
Overall, these works can only improve the quality of our roads and make them safer for all road users.
