The building project for Clarin College, Athenry, now gone to tender.
Following on from continuous discussions with the Minister for Education, I am glad to confirm that the Clarin College project in Athenry has now gone to tender. The tender duration will be seven weeks and this means that tenders will be returned on July 19th and the projected started time is September, with the school building ready for use in September 2019.
This project follows on from the Presentation College school, which is at an advanced stage, which will allow the progressions for new Gaelscoil buildings in Athenry. This brings certainty to this project which has been held up for years in the planning process
