I welcome funding under the CLÁR programme for three projects in Galway East
Attymon National School has been awarded €40,500 for footpath and public lighting at their school, Laurenstown Community Development Group have been awarded €21,549.02 for works in their amenity area. St. Clumbas National School, Kilbeacanty has been awarded €36,000 for carpark facilities safety lights and upgrade of road markings.
The funding will provide support for the provision of safety measures around schools and community facilities.
The CLAR programme provides funding in designated rural areas that have experienced significant level of population decline.
