I welcome the announcement of funding for Childcare Facilities in Galway East
I have been informed by Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Dr. Katherine Zappone that funding has been provided for many Childcare Facilities in Galway East.
The amount of funding for East Galway exceeds €240,000.
‘I welcome this announcement which will create numerous new childcare places across Galway East. There was an unprecedented amount of applications this year which shows the appetite for expansion within this sector. A continued increase in investment in this area will be sought in order to increase capacity and deliver the highest quality of childcare for families throughout Ireland’
The following creches and early childcare facilities who have benefitted from this funding announcement include, Tuam Community Childcare Centre, Newtown Kids Club Ltd, The Orchard Creche, Kinvara Community Childrens Centre, Loughrea Community Preschool, Spraoi Early Learning Centres, Kids Club, and Doorus Community Montessori/Playshool
This is part of an overall national investment of €6.87 million
