A public consultation process on the future of the CAP post 2020 is now underway. The consultation process will be open for an eight week period from Friday 26th January to Friday 23rd March. As part of this process, there will be a series of six public meetings to consider the future of the Common Agricultural Policy.

The following are the times and dates for the meetings in Connacht:

Wednesday 14th February, 7-9 pm, Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon
Tuesday 20th February, 8-10 pm, Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone
Wednesday, 21st February, 8-10 pm, McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris.

Written submissions on CAP post 2020 should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to EU Division, Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Floor 6 Centre, Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin , marked ‘Submission on CAP post 2020’. The deadline for submissions is 23rd March 2018.
