Seán Canney TD this week welcomed funding for and outdoor recreation project in Laurencetown, Lismany and Kylemore.
‘I welcome the announcement of €40,000 to Galway County Council for the replacement of the wooden boardwalk trail and viewing platform at Lismany, Kylemore Bog and Laurencetown under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure 2020 Measure 1 for small scale local projects.
‘The scheme is administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development and was put in place by Michael Ring and I when in the Department under the last government.’
