I have called on the Government to engage with unions representing the CE Supervisors to ensure an immediate resolution to this long running injustice.
“The CE Supervisors are providing an enormous service in communities right across the country and indeed these CE Schemes are carrying out necessary work which would not otherwise be carried out”.
The supervisors manage the scheme and they are left with no pension rights. There are many supervisors who when they retire are left with no pension entitlements. This is wrong and an abuse of employment rules”.
“Supervisors on the Rural Social Schemes are also treated the same way”.
“I am calling on the Government to ensure that this issue is treated as a priority and that this injustice is put right as a matter of urgency”.
