Savour the Past with Athenry’s Walled Towns Day and celebrate Galway’s Year of Gastronomy with a Feast of Food, Music & Stories.
Athenry’s Walled Towns Day will Savour the Past with a fun free programme of events which includes medieval re-enactments, children’s craft workshops, puppet shows, have a go archery, music, food stalls, medieval arts & crafts and historical presentations. The programme is inclusive to all with events being held in Athenry Heritage Centre, Athenry Park and the Community Hall.
Please note we will have a big screen showing our Hurling Heros – Galway v Limerick as part of the event.
