Welcome announcement by An Post to offer a “One Stop Shop” facility for Home Retrofit and Home Insulation measures.
I have been informed that An Post have launched a one-stop shop facility to cover loan only or full retro-fit services to house holders contemplating improving the insulation values and making homes more sustainable to heat.
An Post will provide tailored loans and full retro-fit services from initial home assessments to completed works which will mean a seamless SEAI Grant application and payment process.
‘ I welcome this initiative which will encourage home owners to invest in transforming their home to environmentally friendly heating and reduce heating costs’.
‘Home retrofitting is also a means to stimulate the economy by providing jobs in the regions in the retrofitting of houses’.
