I have had the honour and privilege to have served as Minister of State at the Office of Public Works with special responsibility for Flood Relief for the last year
I want to acknowledge the support and co-operation of the O.P.W staff, Government colleagues, Team Canney supporters, the dedicated staff in my Constituency Office, Independent Alliance colleagues and especially my constituents in Galway East in helping me create positive progress in all aspects of my role as Minister.
I wish very success to my Independent Alliance colleague Kevin Boxer Moran who has taken over the Ministerial role for the next year.
I look forward to my new role as Assistance Government Chief Whip within the Government and continuing to find solutions to the issues of concern to the constituents in Galway East.
