I am delighted to have received confirmation that Brownsgrove National School has been approved for a new permanent classroom.
This is great news for this rural school and following on from the €50,000 CLÁR funding the school received earlier this year. This funding was allocated to provide safe set down area for the children, car parking area and the development of their football pitch. This project was completed over the summer months.
“Brownsgrove School is also to receive a Broadband Connect Point under the National Broadband Scheme which will provide high speed broadband for the provision of e-learning and will enhance the delivery of education through the latest technology. The work on this part of the project is almost complete”
“I wish to acknowledge the efforts of Patricia Boyle, School Principal, Staff, Board of Management and Parents in working together to provide a top class educational facility in a rural area and I will continue to work with the school to ensure delivery of this latest project classroom”.
