In the current challenging times, it is important to remember that the Patient Advocacy Service offers free, independent, and confidential advice for patients and families.
The service, which is funded by the Department of Health and is independent of the HSE, provides support and information for those who may have concerns around their care and treatment in an acute hospital.
Anyone requiring advocacy support – for COVID-19 or non-COVID-19 related issues – can call the national line on 0818 293 003 Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.
