I very much welcome the announcement of funding for youth projects and youth services by Minister Katherine Zappone TD.
The youth services in Galway to benefit include CAPE Project, East Galway Youth Service, Forum Adolescent Support Programme, Involve Youth Services in Loughrea and Ballinasloe, the Western Traveller Movement, No 4 Youth Service and Westside Youth Project’
The grants approved provide for the purchase of equipment to support the running of the service or organisation They also provide for small scale refurbishment grants.
The eligible local youth services were invited by GRETB to apply for the support.
I am delighted at this funding boost to youth organisations because it will help improve the delivery of quality youth services in the County.
