I was delighted to present Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at the Young Social Innovators of the Year Awards at Croke Park today.
The awards recognise and celebrate youth-led social innovation.
More than 6,000 young people across Ireland took part in projects that creatively tackled issues that are affecting them, their communities and wider society.
There were 370 entries initially with 31 short-listed. They covered a wide range of topics, such as poverty, health, safety, justice and sustainability. Great ideas and great energy!
