I had a great morning at the Foundry @ Google for the School Digital Champions Showcase event. Students from 53 schools were exhibiting, all bursting with ideas about digital futures and possibilities. They had plenty of ideas about digital can be used to enhance our lives and it was encouraging to see so many projects focusing on Climate Action. It was great to bump into some “locals” among the exhibitors, such as Gabally College, Ballinasloe, whose project involved creating a virtual video of the school. Altogether it was inspirational to see such innovation and creativity.
