Computer course at Solas FRC
I recently presented completion certificates to participants who completed a computer course at Solas FRC in Headford, Co. Galway
The Department of Rural Affairs funds a scheme to improve people’s computer skills so that they can use computers for everyday situations such as banking, keeping in touch with family or conducting business online.
The scheme is organised by Irish Rural Link and offers training to people who have no previous computer experience. It is important that people of all ages can access emails and be in a position to carry our day-to-day duties online.
I am particularly delighted to see people in Galway East availing of the opportunity and I want to thank Solas Family Resource Centre for facilitating the course. The next course in Headford is expected to commence in February 2019.
