The event aims to inform all users of Lough Corrib and its surrounding shores of the steps they can take to be prepared for the challenges that can be present. Guest speakers including the RNLI, Garda Rescue, Irish Water Safety and Corrib Mask Search & Rescue. Speakers will provide presentations on everything concerning Lough Corrib and the approach that should be taken when involved in activities in and around the lake. There will also be a demonstration on lifejackets, the maintenance that should be carried out annually and the correct fitting of them.
