Work has started on the building of a new fire station in Tuam. The contract was signed with Carey Contractors, Galway and work has begun on site.
The site is located on the N17 and the €1.5 million investment will provide a new modern facility for the emergency fire services serving Tuam and North Galway. The project is expected to be completed in nine months. This is a very positive development for Tuam and North Galway.
