Tuam Fire Startion
East Galway TD Seán Canney has been informed that the preferred contractor for the construction of the new Fire Station in Tuam is to be appointed.
Following the tender process a contractor has now been identified and the formal process of appointing the contractor is now underway. The new Fire Station will be built on the Milltown Road on a site purchased by Galway County Council a number of years ago.
‘The new Fire Station will cost in the region of €1.5 million and it is a very important investment in the Fire & Emergency Services for Tuam and North Galway’ concluded Deputy Canney.
